About Us

Must love Frenchies! Oui! I have had dogs my entire life, but was never as smitten as I was with my Nika Bleu. If you're here you probably feel the same way.

We have unique apparel, footwear, accessories and home goods for French Bulldog lovers.

We proudly offer apparel by Bella+Canvas. From their webite:

"WATER REDUCTION

By using newer, more efficient dye machines, we use 7x less water than the average for clothing manufacturers, saving 24 million gallons a week. Any water we do use goes through a filtration system that allows it to be recycled.

ENERGY REDUCTION

We are a green company through and through - taking every opportunity we can to reduce our co2 emissions. If you take a quick tour around our headquarters you'll find we use solar energy to power our sewing and cutting facilities, motion-sensor LED lighting and skylights throughout each building, and electric car charging stations to encourage employees to go green.

VIRTUALLY ZERO WASTE

Our manufacturing facilities and LA Headquarters produce almost no landfill because we recycle pretty much everything that can't be turned into a tee. We've optimized our cutting to reduce plastic use, and excess fabric is recycled into a number of things like baby bibs or stuffing for upholstery. Let nothing go to waste!"

Our bags are made with eco-friendly vegan leather.

We are in the process of "giving back" as well. There will be a  blog with the list of charities, to be determined.

My love ( somehow it felt like irrational love) for the French Bulldog began in 2003. I had a Boston Terrier at the time. My then-boyfriend was crazy about her and with good reason; she was personable, playful, and very smart. The boyfriend always had large dogs though, so he was reluctant. Then one day he told me he saw this amazing little dog -- to to him, it was like a "beefier" Boston Terrier.

Months later, Buddy came to live with him. He was cream-colored, affectionate, adorable, and had his own ideas when it came to behavior.

A few years later, after much research, I flew to Boston from California to meet my Fawn puppy at eight weeks old. Nika Bleu. When I took her in my arms she immediately nuzzled my neck and I could feel how relaxed she was. I was fully in love at that moment and it just grew and grew over the years.

Nika crossed over the rainbow bridge February 9, 2019. Life certainly hasn't been the same without her, and it's been as hard as I always feared. But I wouldn't trade a second of the grief for having never known her.

So this endeavor is for all the Frenchies because I do love them all.

Nika Bleu

And now, life is better...since Ani Bleu came into our lives. Well, that's an understatement. It included a lot of wiggles, snorts, and nips.
